A Photographer’s Diary: Laziness (2017 #02)

One of my new year’s resolutions was to blog more. I guess I’m failing miserably on that one. Oh well, such is life. I have actually part-written a couple of blogs in recent months, but by the time I felt like finishing them things had moved on and they no longer seemed relevant.

Another of my resolutions was to drink less. I have been more successful in achieving this one – much to the surprise of everyone that knows me, and if I’m honest, to myself. I completed Dry January without incident, immediately went on a slight bender to make up for lost time, before deciding that I would give up booze indefinitely. So here I am rapidly approaching my 100th day sober. I’m still not sure how I feel about the whole thing, but I won’t bore you with the details. I had hoped sobriety would make me more productive with my writing but for one reason or another it hasn’t panned out that way.

Anyway, I’m gonna see if I can right that wrong in the coming weeks and summarise what’s been going on here.
